Be appalled, I am! This mod changes all that! Now we can adopt up to six, YES SIX, kids! The Mod Author even includes an option file that will add the last name вЂњDovahkiirвЂќ, meaning вЂњDragon ChildвЂќ/вЂќChild of the DragonвЂќ. There are four of them in case you werenвЂ™t already aware. If you are anything like I am, a big softhearted fool, then every homeless kid you stumble upon you may well want to adopt.

If you have issues but still want to use mods like these, I would suggest that use a Texture Optimizer. So if your system has issues with Hi-Res textures, you may still be able to run them. Prince and The Pauper gives you multiple options you can pick the clothing you prefer depending on your taste and preferences.ДЄgain, I had no noticeable difference in FPS using either mod - these are clothing texture replacements вЂ“ they are not high resolution. Prince and The Pauper by JadeRoyale is another popular child clothing replacement mod. I personally prefer this one, but you might want to check out the following one as well. The additions are somewhat subtle, enough so that they blend in well, but obvious enough for us to appreciate the beauty.

I personally think this is an amazing mod! It stays lore-friendly yet adds a greater dimension to the world. This mod does a spectacular job of replacing the textures of many of the clothing worn in the game.

Not only for the children, but for all clothing in Skyrim.

I had no impact on FPS on my system with either of the two mods I have mentioned above and yes, I tried them both out. Still, I highly recommend both of these mods dependent upon your personal preference. I rather like the way TK Children look вЂ“ vulnerable and sweet but thatвЂ™s just a personal preference, I know. The image to the right is merely a sampling of changes made to the children, I suggest you check out the mod if that look appeals to you. It also gives you the option to add playable children, if thatвЂ™s something you ever wanted to do, thatвЂ™s not my cup of tea however: I did not test this or try it out. Each child now feels unique which adds to immersion rather than ruins it. The heads have been modified and better hairstyles have been applied. This ruins immersion for me and looks far too generic. Boy or girl вЂ“ they have the same body, the same basic features. I donвЂ™t know if you noticed, but every child in Skyrim looks basically the same, with minor differences, like hairstyles. I have tried three of them so far and the one I found I loved the most was this one. There are a few mods available to beautify SkyrimвЂ™s children. So really?
